The 41st Annual Winfest is September 21, 2024!
It all started in 1983…
Since 1983 talented musicians, vendors, and families from all over Northwest Arkansas have congregated in the small town of Winslow to enjoy a full day of food, fun, and entertainment.
Beautiful scenery, fresh mountain air, groovy tunes, and good vibrations culminate to provide a wonderful atmosphere for this community event. Proceeds from this festival are used to fund Winslow Community Meals and other valuable community programs.

WINFEST 40 RECAP
Last summer, we celebrated forty years of Winfest! The day started a little cloudy but ended sunny and warm; no matter the weather, the grooves and vibes were at an exciting all time high! We had a great lineup and an amazing turnout!
To celebrate forty years, we invited some of the first attendees to the front for a group photo. Aren’t they a wonderful-looking crew?
Our headliner, Ahhfuggyeahs, did a wonderful job closing out another year of Winfest. We look forward to seeing what’s in store for Winfest 41!
Through your support, Winfest 40 raised $15,000! Here’s how we put that back into our flourishing community here in Winslow:
$1,000 to Ozark Folkways
$8,500 to Winslow Community Meals
$4,000 to WCCA
$1,000 to Winslow Community Relief Fund
$400 to Within Winslow
$100 to Winslow Museum

The story of our banner…
1983 —
The Beginning
In the beginning, the first banner was simple, a white canvas with “WINFEST” painted across in red.
198? —
The Handmade
Then, a collective group painted a banner. This design has remained the true inspiration for all banners to come.
1990s —
The Sign Shop
As the handmade banner wore out, a new banner took its place. With help from Fayetteville business, The Sign Shop, a new vinyl banner was introduced.
2023 —
Sign Planet
After losing the banner in a fire, along with many other Winfest supplies, the community fundraised to replace the lost items. The main focus was a new banner. At the 40th Winfest, the new banner was unveiled!
